Asia's first snow horse polo match took place in the Dras subdivision of Ladakh, where riders maneuvered their horses on hard-packed snow in freezing temperatures. Organized by the Himalayan Cultural and Sports Association Dras Kargil, this 2022 match featured local players under the leadership of President "Amin Polo"

As during winters, crippled in chil cold the youths especially students engage themselves by playing games like ice hockey by making way towards the rinks. The agency, WANT Ladakh provides platforms for the youths/ participants by organizing various matches arranging coaches for the interested players who seek to gain more skill in the game.
